Glass floor systems.
Walk-on glass.
The focus of the applications is certainly on improving the quality of the room through more natural daylight and a filigree construction. The transparency of the accessible glass can be prevented by the use of slip-resistant functional coating or a coloured film.
Walk-on glass consists of at least three individual panes laminated into a laminated safety glass. The two glass panes at the bottom bear the standard
loads and are made of float glass or partially tempered glass. The top glass pane fulfils the function of slip resistance through a patented coating or deep etching and is made of TVG. Highly tear-resistant laminated foils ensure that the individual panes remain connected to each other even in the event of breakage. A reduced load-bearing capacity is retained depending on the type of damage.
