In order to protect the case and its art objects from seismic shocks, the case can either be securely bolted to the floor, or placed on an „isolator“.
The isolator can be inside the case and carry the art object, or be under the case and carry the whole case.

The video shows a simulation of two different seismic shocks. The display case with an isolator underneath is placed upon a shock-test table.
The isolator absorbs the vibrations, the art objects inside are safe.

In comparison the wooden object on the unprotected plinth falls down.
